TREATMENT TIME: 30-60 Minutes
ANESTHETIC: Topical numbing cream, Injectable Numbing, and/or Vibrating T-Bar
RECOVERY TIME: Mild redness and swelling will gradually go down over the next 1-2 days depending on the patient. Patients often require no downtime.
NOTICEABLE RESULTS: Volume noticeable immediately. Gradually subtle/natural results can be seen up to 2-6 months after treatment.
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS NEEDED: The average person needs 3-4 initial treatments, at 4-8 weeks apart, with ongoing maintenance over time.
Pre-Care Instructions
- If okayed by your healthcare provider, do not take any blood thinning medications such as, Ibuprofen, Advil, Vitamin E, Fish oil, Excedrin, Aleve, etc. for at least two weeks prior to your treatments
- Avoid alcohol for at least two days prior to your appointment. This will help reduce the bleeding, bruising, and swelling during and after your injections.
- Stay hydrated and avoid coming in on an empty stomach.
- We recommend taking Arnica tablets 2-3 days before your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.
Post-Care Instructions
- Avoid strenuous or high-heat activity for 48 hours after treatment.
- Stay well-hydrated.
- If okayed by your healthcare provider, avoid taking any blood thinning medications (listed above) for at least 6 hours after treatment
- We recommend taking Arnica tablets 5-7 days after your treatment to reduce the risk of bruising.
- You may take an antihistamine (like Benadryl or Claritin) for the next few days to decrease inflammatory response.
- Watch skin for any unusual discoloration or bruising. Alert the Rise team immediately if you notice anything unusual.
- Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours.
- Sleeping with your head elevated can limit swelling.
