RECOVERY TIME: Redness will gradually go down over the next 2-4 days depending on the patient. Natural Growth Factor/PRF Injections will help decrease redness and healing time.
NOTICEABLE RESULTS: Gradual results will be seen over the next week and continue to get better as cell turnover continues.
NUMBER OF TREATMENTS NEEDED: The average person needs 4-6 initial treatments, at 4 weeks apart, with ongoing maintenance over time.
PRE CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Avoid sun exposure 2-3 weeks before.
- Avoid retinol and or active ingredient use 4-5 days before.
- Avoid applying self tanner or spray tan 1-2 weeks before.
- Wear SPF daily to ensure the barrier is healthy and protected.
- Cannot be treated if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Can not be treated if taking antibiotics that make you photosensitive.
POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS
- Avoid sun exposure for 7-10 days after.
- Avoid retinol or active ingredient use for 7-10 days after.
- Avoid makeup and sunscreen for at least 24-48 hours after.
- Avoid heavy exercise for at least 24-48 hours after.
- Avoid saunas, hot tubs, tanning beds, hot baths, hot showers, etc. for 7-10 days after.
- Avoid applying self tanner or spray tan 2-3 weeks after.
- Keep the area well protected and moisturized using Alastin Skin Nectar, Glymed Comfort Cream and Alastin Hydratint SPF or Color Science Face Shield SPF of choice.
- Use a gentle cleanser to gently cleanse face AM and PM. Pat face dry with a clean towel.
